DefendaStrip ‘Flex’ Anti-Climb Intruder Deterrent Strips (Police Preferred Specification)

DefendaStrip® ‘Flex’ is an innovative, Secured by Design (SBD) accredited anti-climb perimeter protection system, designed to deter unauthorised access to your property and garden. It can be used as a standalone security solution or as part of a wider garden security setup. A cost-effective and maintenance-free access deterrent, each Flex strip features 72 spiked cones in alternating heights of 25mm and 30mm, creating an unstable and uncomfortable surface that discourages climbing. The lightweight modular strips securely clip together to form continuous protective runs and can be easily fixed to fences, walls, gates or downpipes, providing both a strong visual warning and an effective physical deterrent to opportunistic intruders. Each strip measures 510mm (L) x 100mm (W) and is available in 5m, 20m and 50m packs, with larger quantities available on request.

DefendaStrip® Flex is the only anti-climb strip accredited by Secured by Design (SBD) and carries the Police Preferred Specification, offering reassurance of its effectiveness and quality. As a safety precaution, DefendaStrip should be installed in a clearly visible position and not concealed from view. Anti-climb products are recommended to be fitted at a height of around 2 metres, and never below 1.8 metres (6ft), to minimise the risk of accidental injury. Care and attention must be paid to any local, special conditions or obligations, especially when installing anti-climb products adjacent to a public highway or public area.
