Product Description

Pan Head Torx Masonry Screws are recommended by DefendaStrip for securely fixing DefendaStrip ‘Flex’ anti-climb strips to masonry surfaces or wooden fences. Corrosion and fire resistant, they are ideal for long-lasting outdoor installations.

Recommended fixing methods

For masonry, drilling and plugging is recommended to ensure a secure fixing, although the screws can be driven directly into brick or stone using a quality masonry screw. For wooden fences, fixing depends on the width of the top bar; the Flex strip can be trimmed if required, but should not be reduced by more than half to maintain sufficient fixing points. Screws should be fitted at regular intervals for maximum security. Adhesive is not suitable for this product.
