SelectaDNA is an advanced forensic marking formula of DNA, UV tracer and microdots which is inconspicuous and almost impossible to remove. SelectaDNA is produced by Selectamark Security Solutions plc which has been at the forefront of developing high-quality property marking solutions since 1985. Based in the UK, the SelectaDNA database is accessible globally, meaning any security marked property that is stolen and taken to another country can be linked back to you in the event of it being recovered. Please note: in line with UK Data Protection laws, personal data is not supplied to authorities outside the UK, and that any such cases would be handed over to the UK Police.

Product Description

The SelectaDNA Rural Property Marking Kit is ideal for marking any outdoor and garden items, as well as garden tools, equipment and machinery that are being stored in a shed, garage, outbuilding or workshop. The kit enables you to securely mark up to 50 items with the unique SelectaDNA liquid formula. Using SelectaDNA to forensically mark your outdoor property can be an effective theft deterrent and allows Police to quickly identify the owner of any stolen property when it is recovered to enable its safe return.

Microdots unique and instant ID

Each SelectaDNA kit contains a unique DNA code which allows Police to identify and return your stolen property. SelectaDNA contains a second identifier of thousands of microscopic ‘microdots’ which contains your unique ID and SelectaDNA’s Secure Asset Register database web address. The DNA formula is applied using an applicator, becoming touch dry in approximately 30 minutes and fully cured in around one week. Once the DNA formula has been applied, a tamper-resistant warning label can be applied to the marked item to show the property is DNA marked.

Your Property Marking Kit can then be registered on Selectamark’s secure Home Office compliant and UK Police-approved Secure Asset Register, enabling your property to be easily identified by Police if it becomes lost or stolen. The Selecta DNA Property Marking Kit comes with a membership card which allows you to ensure your unique SelectaDNA Kit Code and PIN are always to hand. The SelectaDNA Rural Property Marking Kit includes: 1 x membership card; 1 x 8ml bottle of unique SelectaDNA formula (with microdots); 1 x blue stick applicator; 50 x tamper resistant warning labels; 2 x exterior warning stickers; 2 x window stickers (for shed, garage/outbuildings or workshops); 2 x vehicle window stickers; 1 x UV keyring light; 1 x warning sign (for a garden gate or boundary wall or fence); 1 x application instruction leaflet; and Lifetime registration on the Secure Asset Register.
