Trimetals MCG 940 Motorcycle Garage is a large, high quality, maintenance-free all-metal motorcycle garage which provides an affordable, secure and convenient storage solution for your valuable motorcycle and riding accessories, keeping them safe from theft and vandalism, and protected from the elements. The MCG 940 is the smallest of Trimetals’ standard motorcycle garages, measuring 1460mm in width (4’8”) x 2775mm in depth (9’1”) and designed to store one full-size motorcycle. Trimetals standard motorcycle garages are available in three sizes, with the largest (MCG 960) being designed to store two machines side by side. The MCG 950 and 960 models are also available from My Secure Garden. The MCG 940 garage features wide double doors, ensuring easy access, and sufficient width to walk your motorcycle straight inside. The MCG 940 has a traditional pent roof design and ventilation slots in the front fascia above the doors which maintain airflow inside and minimise condensation without compromising security. The MCG motorcycle garages have been designed to be simple and safe to put up with only basic DIY experience. The components are supplied in a convenient flat pack and is very simple to construct, and their precision engineering ensures that all the parts fit together perfectly. Trimetals recommends assembly of the unit is undertaken by a minimum of two people.

The recommended base for the MCG 940 is a solid concrete slab (ideally 310cm (10’) x 175cm (5’7”) and at least 100mm thick) laid on a flat gravel bed, with polythene sheeting placed under or on top of the concrete to help prevent moisture rising inside and causing condensation. Solid concrete paving slabs laid on a flat gravel bed or concrete “point” foundations can also provide an effective basing solution. ‘Spirafix’ metal ground anchors are recommended if locating the shed directly onto grass. The unit is supplied with “Thunderbolt” fasteners for bolting the shed down securely into the concrete base or slabs.
