The Trimetals Protect-a-Cycle™ with ramp is a high-security metal bike store designed to provide exceptional protection for up to three adult bicycles and cycling equipment. High Security Bike Storage for Up to 3 Bicycles

The Protect-a-Cycle is designed to securely store up to three full-size bicycles along with helmets, locks and cycling accessories - keeping them protected from theft and weather. Its reinforced steel construction, integral metal floor and multi-point locking system provide a high level of security, making it one of the most secure domestic bike storage solutions available.

Advanced Security Features and Certified Protection

Protect-a-Cycle is supplied with a comprehensive security package, including two stainless steel locking hasps with Sold Secure Silver-approved padlocks, an internal security cable, a third padlock, a heavy-duty ground anchor, and additional padlock points (optional). The unit has been independently tested and certified to LPCB LPS1175 Security Rating A1 (SR1) and is recognised by Secured by Design as Police Preferred Specification. Protect-a-Cycle is designed to be bolted down to a hard (concrete) surface from the inside for added security (all necessary bolts are supplied).

Easy Access Design with Hinged Ramp

The Protect-a-Cycle™ with ramp features a smooth spring-assisted opening mechanism combined with a hinged front access ramp, allowing easy and complete “walk-in” access to your bicycles. The ramp drops down when access is required and folds back into place to form the lower front base when closed. Reinforced hinges provide strength and durability, and the ramp design does not reduce internal storage space. This makes the unit particularly suitable for heavier bikes, including electric bikes, and for users seeking easier day-to-day access.

Colours & Installation Requirements

Protect-a-Cycle is available in a choice of colours including cream, anthracite, olive and moorland green. The unit is supplied as a flat pack with pre-assembled panels and includes full instructions for straightforward assembly. Trimetals recommends assembly of the unit is undertaken by a minimum of two people. The unit must be installed on a firm, flat and level surface such as concrete or paving slabs. It is designed to be bolted down internally using the supplied fixings to maximise security.
